This 6-week program will introduce you to the Fire and Emergency Services provided in Rockland County.
Ready to take your interest in Fire Service to the next level? If so the Rockland County Explorer Post is looking for you.
The sister and brotherhood of the fire service welcomes not only adults, but youth as well. Any teen can enroll in a Junior or Explorer program and begin a rewarding journey.
We provides members with gear and equipment along with essential life-saving training
Access to income tax credits, property tax reductions
Free physicals & flu shots are offered to members of the department.
Eligibility for affordable coverage from the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).
Young volunteers can earn scholarships and tuition reimbursement for college
Upon reaching age 62, volunteers may receive up to $ per month for each year of service.
